Casa Sol y Luna is a spectacular new villa built on the powdery white sands of the Mexican Caribbean, now called the Mayan Riviera. The villa was built to meet the standards of luxury and privacy of the most distinguished of guests. Both lots on either side are empty so you have complete privacy. Sunbath, meditate, do what your heart desires, the place is yours.

Casa Sol y Luna is two complete homes, Casa Sol on the ground floor and Casa Luna on the upper level. Each villa boasts an open floor plan of 3,500 sq. ft. with three air-conditioned bedrooms, each with private bathrooms. All the bedrooms but one, gives you a view of the gardens, pool and ocean. Each bathroom has beautiful Mexican tile and glass blocks that create wonderfully large showers. The master bathrooms also have bathtubs.

Casa Sol has a wonderful kitchen that has all of the items needed to create your favorite meals. With its microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher with beautiful dishes and cutlery, you will feel as if you are royalty. Nothing is missing. The breakfast bar that views the ocean along with the dining and living rooms never let you forget that you are in a magical place, the Mayan Riviera. There is plenty of room to lounge around inside with the American Satellite TV, stereo, and CD player. Outside, you have a 12 X 45 foot covered terrace overlooking the pool, gardens and beach. There you can have your meals, swing in hammocks or just lounge in the very typical wooden and leather furniture.

Casa Luna has the same amenities in the kitchen, as does Casa Sol. You will have all that you need. The views from the dining and living rooms are even better. Besides its own 12 X 45 foot terrace, Casa Luna also has a 3,000 foot partially covered rooftop terrace with hammocks, and lounge chairs. This invites you to enjoy the panoramic view of the Caribbean, jungle and gardens and fantastic star watching at night. It is breathtaking.

Both Casa Sol and Casa Luna have a laundry room with a washer and dryer for your use.

Honoring the privacy of our guests, Casa Luna will be only available for groups exceeding 8 people. The owner may use Casa Luna while Casa Sol is rented. Guests have access to all areas and will have privacy.

As if the villas are not spectacular enough, you also have the pool, with the wooded area that separates the property from the beach and gardens to enjoy. The 36 X 16 ft. lighted pool is tiled blue with a turtle swimming at the bottom. A Jacuzzi that is attached to the pool is large enough for at least 10 people to enjoy. There is a wonderful palapa (thatched roof patio) with a sink, bar with stools and bar-b-q grill. There are plenty of lounge chairs around the pool and also at the beach. In the wooded area, there is a magical place with a meditation pond and wrought iron benches to sit on while you contemplate the universe or just this little piece of heaven. Walk through the gardens to the beach and you will find two small palapas to give you a little shade if needed. Otherwise, this is where the sun worshippers come to life! As we have remarked before, the beach is the best on the entire coast. Away from large resorts, the sand is like powder and will never burn your feet. It is one of few beaches where you can swim, ride the waves, or just let them lap at your side while sitting at the shallow sandy edge. This is paradise with very luxurious surroundings.

The onsite housekeeper and gardener will do all that is needed to make sure that your vacation is the best ever. The manager who will answer all of your questions and make sure that you have whatever you need will greet you.

Casa Sol Y Luna is located within 10 minutes south of restaurants in Playa del Secreto. There you will find a wide variety of foods, from Mexican, Italian, Asian and Moms Bakery for delicious treats, and small grocery stores. 1. Vacation Rental Rates are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include 14% tax. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates can vary.
2. Unless otherwise noted a security deposit will be included in the rental contract and has to be paid in advance as the rental amount. Depending on the home it is between US 150 - US 1000. Tenants agree to pay for any damage caused. If there is no damage the security deposit will be returned within two to four weeks of departure.
3. Your rental needs to be paid in USD by check or money order.
4. A 50% deposit along with the signed contract is required within seven days of booking to hold the dates for your vacation home. Your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival, 60 days for holidays.
5. Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival are refundable at the owners discretion based on ability to re-rent. A US 250 handling fee applies for all cancellations. No refund on holiday rentals.
6. If travel is restricted by the US Government or Airlines forcing a cancellation, your vacation rental can be rescheduled within a year. No refunds. Adjustments for seasonal changes may apply. A low season rental will be honored without additional charge. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
7. Maximum occupancy includes all children no matter what age. No additional guests. No exceptions. Contract will be null and void and you will be asked to leave.
8. No pets allowed.
9. No smoking inside the property.
10. Three night minimum stay.
11. Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Early check in and/or late check out can be arranged at half a days rate if possible.
12. All vacation rentals are subject to Mexican laws and regulations.
13. Unless stated otherwise in the property description our vacation homes include maid service three times a week. No maid service on Sundays and Mexican holidays. Maid service can be increased for an additional charge of $35 per day.

14. We will email you directions and entry procedures around two weeks prior to your arrival. Directions are from Cancun Airport to your vacation home. Entry procedures include the lock box code for the house and service phone numbers. Please remember to bring these instructions with you.
15. Water and electricity are the two most valuable commodities. Please conserve both. Shut off air conditioners when not using the bedrooms, and when leaving the premises. Air conditioners found running with the windows open will result in forfeiture of security deposit.
16. Use common sense and to ensure a safe trip, lock all doors and windows when leaving your vacation home.
