Snuggled within a dense grove of coconut trees you will have your first glimpse of the cozy white hacienda as you enter the gated compound. Imagine yourself watching the sunrise over the Caribbean from the verandah while having your morning's first cup of coffee, or in the evening sipping a margarita as the occasional sailboat lazily passes by.

The owner has not overlooked a thing for your leisure comfort. The living room and scenic verandah are accented with pottery and authentic hand-painted and carved furnishings, plus modern conveniences such as a telephone, cable television and VCR. The three finely appointed bedrooms reflect the rich culture combination of the Mexican and Mayan artisans. Air conditioning throughout the villa will ensure your comfort.

Upon your arrival you will be greeted by your gracious hostess and owner Sra. Doy Cooper, when she is in residence. Casa del Secreto consists of two independent villas on a large 2 acre oceanfront lot. The lower level villa is kept as a private residence. When she is at Playa del Secreto, Sra. Cooper would be happy to share her knowledge of the area gems that most tourists miss. When she is not in residence, her kindly staff will take care of your every need. In either case, guest privacy is our uppermost priority. The upper villa is a luxury 3 bedroom / 3 bath complete vacation home with private entrance, terrace and full kitchen. The upper villa can be combined with the lower villa for a spacious 5 bedroom / 5 bath vacation rental.

The lure of the tropical outdoors may simply be a relaxing stroll on our mile long beach with a refreshing swim in the translucent turquoise-green ocean or lovely swimming pool, topped off with a siesta under the coconut trees in your favorite hammock. Casa del Secreto can provide everything you need for a relaxing vacation on the beach.

For the more energetic and adventurous, we can arrange a snorkeling or diving excursion, a deep-sea fishing trip, a parasail ride, a horseback ride on the beach, a picnic at a cenote, a round of championship golf or an archeological tour of the Yucatan peninsula's Mayan Ruins. Casa del Secreto is perfectly located to take advantage of Mexico's Mayan Riviera's numerous attractions and is available for weddings, reunions, parties and meetings.

1. Vacation Rental Rates are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include 14% tax. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates can vary.
2. Unless otherwise noted a security deposit will be included in the rental contract and has to be paid in advance as the rental amount. Depending on the home it is between US 150 - US 1000. Tenants agree to pay for any damage caused. If there is no damage the security deposit will be returned within two to four weeks of departure.
3. Your rental needs to be paid in USD by check or money order.
4. A 50% deposit along with the signed contract is required within seven days of booking to hold the dates for your vacation home. Your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival, 60 days for holidays.
5. Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival are refundable at the owners discretion based on ability to re-rent. A US 250 handling fee applies for all cancellations. No refund on holiday rentals.
6. If travel is restricted by the US Government or Airlines forcing a cancellation, your vacation rental can be rescheduled within a year. No refunds. Adjustments for seasonal changes may apply. A low season rental will be honored without additional charge. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
7. Maximum occupancy includes all children no matter what age. No additional guests. No exceptions. Contract will be null and void and you will be asked to leave.
8. No pets allowed.
9. No smoking inside the property.
10. Three night minimum stay.
11. Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Early check in and/or late check out can be arranged at half a days rate if possible.
12. All vacation rentals are subject to Mexican laws and regulations.
13. Unless stated otherwise in the property description our vacation homes include maid service three times a week. No maid service on Sundays and Mexican holidays. Maid service can be increased for an additional charge of $35 per day.

14. We will email you directions and entry procedures around two weeks prior to your arrival. Directions are from Cancun Airport to your vacation home. Entry procedures include the lock box code for the house and service phone numbers. Please remember to bring these instructions with you.
15. Water and electricity are the two most valuable commodities. Please conserve both. Shut off air conditioners when not using the bedrooms, and when leaving the premises. Air conditioners found running with the windows open will result in forfeiture of security deposit.
16. Use common sense and to ensure a safe trip, lock all doors and windows when leaving your vacation home.
