Property Information

Caribbean Dream is the center house of a group of three built by a family group. It has lots of windows, very light and airy, with marble counters in the kitchen, a breakfast island, an open dining room with a glass table that seats six, and a living room with sliders that lead out to a stone patio.

The living room has big sofas and chairs, and TV with VCR and a Stereo. The owner has chosen high end roman shades of a natural material for all of the windows. There is a laundry room and a half bath of the foyer. All the appliances are stainless steel. There is gas grill as well. The stone patio has a large set of metal furniture. The three bedrooms are up the curving staircase, the master is to the right with a deluxe king sized bed and a large bath and walk-in closet.

On the other side of the hall are the other two bedrooms, one with queen sized bed and one with a king and both with private baths. Again, marble counters and glass block showers and custom woodwork. The property borders the Mayan ruins across the back so there is a lot of privacy, and the roof top terrace has small views of the ocean, due to the huge trees on the Mayan ruins lot in front.

The terrace is furnished with high end patio furniture glass table and woven mesh chairs and loungers. It is a great place to sun, or gather in the evening. The total inside living space of the home is about 2000 square feet. Across the circular drive is the tennis court and the swimming pool and palapa area. Each group of houses in Playacar Phase 2 gets an area like this but this one is particularly nice and private.

Reservation Policies
  1. Vacation Rental Rates are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include 14% tax. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates can vary.
  2. Unless otherwise noted a security deposit will be included in the rental contract and has to be paid in advance as the rental amount. Depending on the home it is between US 150 - US 1000. Tenants agree to pay for any damage caused. If there is no damage the security deposit will be returned within two to four weeks of departure.
  3. Your rental needs to be paid in USD by check or money order.
  4. A 50% deposit along with the signed contract is required within seven days of booking to hold the dates for your vacation home. Your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival, 60 days for holidays.
  5. Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival are refundable at the owners discretion based on ability to re-rent. A US 250 handling fee applies for all cancellations. No refund on holiday rentals.
  6. If travel is restricted by the US Government or Airlines forcing a cancellation, your vacation rental can be rescheduled within a year. No refunds. Adjustments for seasonal changes may apply. A low season rental will be honored without additional charge. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
  7. Maximum occupancy includes all children no matter what age. No additional guests. No exceptions. Contract will be null and void and you will be asked to leave.
  8. No pets allowed.
  9. No smoking inside the property.
  10. Three night minimum stay.
  11. Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Early check in and/or late check out can be arranged at half a days rate if possible.
  12. All vacation rentals are subject to Mexican laws and regulations.
  13. Unless stated otherwise in the property description our vacation homes include maid service three times a week. No maid service on Sundays and Mexican holidays. Maid service can be increased for an additional charge of $35 per day.

  14. We will email you directions and entry procedures around two weeks prior to your arrival. Directions are from Cancun Airport to your vacation home. Entry procedures include the lock box code for the house and service phone numbers. Please remember to bring these instructions with you.
  15. Water and electricity are the two most valuable commodities. Please conserve both. Shut off air conditioners when not using the bedrooms, and when leaving the premises. Air conditioners found running with the windows open will result in forfeiture of security deposit.
  16. Use common sense and to ensure a safe trip, lock all doors and windows when leaving your vacation home.
