Casa Langosta is currently being remodeled to be available for Christmas 2009 as a spacious four bedroom home located in the resort development of Playacar.

The home overlooks the third tee of the golf course and is right around the corner from the pool, tennis courts, and clubhouse. It is a three-minute walk past Mayan ruins to downtown Playa Del Carmen, the ferry to Cozumel, and the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

On the first level, there is a formal living room with large TV, dining area, family room off the full kitchen with granite counters and a huge refrigerator, separate laundry room, and a 3 section outdoor terrace overlooking the golf course. There is a new half bath off the foyer. The four bedrooms are upstairs -three with remodeled full baths, two have king sized beds and the other two each have 2 double beds, easily sleeping a total of 12.

Small balconies provide a private spot for morning coffee or relaxing. Be the first to stay in this wonderfully remodeled villa. New pictures coming soon!

Maid service four times a week, fresh bottled water, and an American property manager will ensure a smooth vacation. An optional in-house cook can be arranged for additional cost. We can stock the kitchen for you or there are well equipped grocery stores readily accessible to meet any food and drink requirements. Private transportation from the Cancun Airport can be arranged on request for an additional fee.

As an added bonus for our guests, we make available our discounted all-inclusive privileges at the Reef Club Hotel. Restrictions apply at the discretion of the Reef Club Hotel.

Vacation Rental Home Policies

1. Vacation Rental Rates are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include 14% tax. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates can vary.
2. Unless otherwise noted a security deposit will be included in the rental contract and has to be paid in advance as the rental amount. Depending on the home it is between US 150 - US 1000. Tenants agree to pay for any damage caused. If there is no damage the security deposit will be returned within two to four weeks of departure.
3. Your rental needs to be paid in USD by check or money order.
4. A 50% deposit along with the signed contract is required within seven days of booking to hold the dates for your vacation home. Your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival, 60 days for holidays.
5. Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival are refundable at the owners discretion based on ability to re-rent. A US 250 handling fee applies for all cancellations. No refund on holiday rentals.
6. If travel is restricted by the US Government or Airlines forcing a cancellation, your vacation rental can be rescheduled within a year. No refunds. Adjustments for seasonal changes may apply. A low season rental will be honored without additional charge. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
7. Maximum occupancy includes all children no matter what age. No additional guests. No exceptions. Contract will be null and void and you will be asked to leave.
8. No pets allowed.
9. No smoking inside the property.
10. Three night minimum stay.
11. Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Early check in and/or late check out can be arranged at half a days rate if possible.
12. All vacation rentals are subject to Mexican laws and regulations.
13. Unless stated otherwise in the property description our vacation homes include maid service three times a week. No maid service on Sundays and Mexican holidays. Maid service can be increased for an additional charge of $35 per day.

14. We will email you directions and entry procedures around two weeks prior to your arrival. Directions are from Cancun Airport to your vacation home. Entry procedures include the lock box code for the house and service phone numbers. Please remember to bring these instructions with you.
15. Water and electricity are the two most valuable commodities. Please conserve both. Shut off air conditioners when not using the bedrooms, and when leaving the premises. Air conditioners found running with the windows open will result in forfeiture of security deposit.
16. Use common sense and to ensure a safe trip, lock all doors and windows when leaving your vacation home.
