This is our newest listing available for short term
rentals. After being a private residence for several
years it has everything you could wish for, and some things
you haven't thought of yet.
Located on Retorno Uxmal, 6 minute walk to town or the
beach, in a very private setting, surrounded by lush
vegetation on two sides and set back from the road, the
house is peaceful and quiet, with a spa like atmosphere.
Containing 5 bedrooms, a private office, multiple outdoor
spaces, with a large heated pool, and a 6 person Jacuzzi hot
tub, this house is unique in its amenities.
As you enter, the two story foyer leads into the dining
room with seating for 8. To the right is the huge gourmet
kitchen with two refrigerators, dual coffee makers, and
island seating for 6 people.
Beyond the kitchen and pantry is a laundry area, and a
bedroom with queen sized bed and full bath. An outdoor
entrance is convenient for those night owls.
Additional laundry facilities are located in the separate
maid’s area so you never have to wait to do your personal
items.
The large living room with sliders overlooking the pool
has a full wall of custom cabinets, a full library, a 42"
flat screen HiDef TV and an assortment of 100's of channels,
and lots of storage for your additional guests. This room
can be closed off and used as a sleeping area with a king
size foldout sofa. There is a half bath in the foyer.
On the left hand side is a full master suite, with a king
sized bed, large bath, and an office with hi speed internet
that can be closed off and used in many ways -as a nursery
or even a nanny's room. The office has sliding glass doors
that lead to the pool, and is an ideal spot for a massage.
Up the grand staircase, the second master suite has a
huge bathroom, king sized bed and private terrace
overlooking the pool. Cross the cat walk and find another
bedroom with private terrace overlooking the hot tub and
extensive gardens. This room has 2 sets of trundle beds,
making it a great kids room, and shares a bath with the
final circular bedroom, with a queen sized bed and tree
house ambiance.
Individual air conditioners cool each bedroom, with
central air for the common areas. For the common area, there
is an outdoor family room, with additional 40" flat screen
TV. There is also an outdoor dining area terrace next to the
outdoor kitchen equipped with a stainless steel gas grill
and sink area to make cooking stress free. There is a pass
through to the kitchen as well so serving is easy.
The large pool is a gradual depth, from 3 to 6 feet and
heated for year round use. Two large terraced areas of
seating offer sun or shade after a dip. The hot tub is there
for relaxing in the winter months - it is never really cold
in Playa but it is a fun spot at night.
You will find linens, extra towels, beach towels and
folding chairs, complete sets of dishes, both china and
plastic, an ice maker, blenders, ceiling fans in every room
(check out the living room), custom furniture everywhere,
and lots of closets and seating. This house is designed to
accommodate large gatherings, with room for everyone.
The unique arrangement of rooms allows any for sized
group, from 2 bedrooms to 5 bedrooms. Maid service is 6 days
a week with a full rental. Bottled water, gardener and pool
cleaner are included as well as children's items -
crib-Pack-n-Play, stroller, and high chair. Maximum occupancy 15 including children of
any age.
