Casa Alcazar is perfect for casual resort living. Designed for ultimate privacy, there are five bedrooms, each with its own balcony, bath and kitchenette for coffee in the morning and a min-fridge for cold drinks.

On the lowest level you will find the fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room and the foyer which has a small library and television set.

A large bedroom with twin beds and private bath is also located on the ground floor. On the second floor, the master suite with king bed and a private sitting area with TV/VCR and a fabulous balcony also has a spiral staircase leading to a private rooftop patio with views of the surrounding jungle and ocean.

The lobby of the second floor is a common open air sitting area with a palapa roof and ceiling fan. The other three bedrooms and baths are down the hall. One bedroom has a queen sized bed, one has a set of twins that can be made up as a king, and one has a double and a twin. This allows 11 persons to sleep comfortably. The entire house is air conditioned.

A large court yard patio which can be accessed from either the foyer or the dining room provides privacy amidst lush tropical landscaping. From here you can enjoy the adjacent swimming pool or tennis courts or follow the path to the beach which is only three minutes away.

Enjoy happy hours on the open air patio, or a private moment swinging in your hammock among the treetops on the 4th floor terrace.

Casa Alcazar is ideally located just a 3 minute walk to the sandy beaches and turquoise waters of the Caribbean and a 15 minute walk to downtown Playa del Carmen with it's wonderful restaurants, bars and shopping.

Beach towels, bottled water, and maid service are included.

As an added bonus for our guests, we make available our discounted all-inclusive privileges at the Reef Club Hotel. Restrictions apply at the discretion of the Reef Club Hotel.

Vacation Rental Home Policies

1. Vacation Rental Rates are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include 14% tax. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates can vary.
2. Unless otherwise noted a security deposit will be included in the rental contract and has to be paid in advance as the rental amount. Depending on the home it is between US 150 - US 1000. Tenants agree to pay for any damage caused. If there is no damage the security deposit will be returned within two to four weeks of departure.
3. Your rental needs to be paid in USD by check or money order.
4. A 50% deposit along with the signed contract is required within seven days of booking to hold the dates for your vacation home. Your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival, 60 days for holidays.
5. Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival are refundable at the owners discretion based on ability to re-rent. A US 250 handling fee applies for all cancellations. No refund on holiday rentals.
6. If travel is restricted by the US Government or Airlines forcing a cancellation, your vacation rental can be rescheduled within a year. No refunds. Adjustments for seasonal changes may apply. A low season rental will be honored without additional charge. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
7. Maximum occupancy includes all children no matter what age. No additional guests. No exceptions. Contract will be null and void and you will be asked to leave.
8. No pets allowed.
9. No smoking inside the property.
10. Three night minimum stay.
11. Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Early check in and/or late check out can be arranged at half a days rate if possible.
12. All vacation rentals are subject to Mexican laws and regulations.
13. Unless stated otherwise in the property description our vacation homes include maid service three times a week. No maid service on Sundays and Mexican holidays. Maid service can be increased for an additional charge of $35 per day.

14. We will email you directions and entry procedures around two weeks prior to your arrival. Directions are from Cancun Airport to your vacation home. Entry procedures include the lock box code for the house and service phone numbers. Please remember to bring these instructions with you.
15. Water and electricity are the two most valuable commodities. Please conserve both. Shut off air conditioners when not using the bedrooms, and when leaving the premises. Air conditioners found running with the windows open will result in forfeiture of security deposit.
16. Use common sense and to ensure a safe trip, lock all doors and windows when leaving your vacation home.
