Casa Grande

The Casa Grande is located approximately two blocks from the main plaza and one and a half blocks from the waterfront behind the Casa Pequena on Calle 6.

Casa Grande is truly a big house, but it is made for a small group. The owners live in this house 4 - 6 months per year, so it has limited availability (usually March through December).

This property features the finest in quality, design and impeccable decorating throughout. You'll appreciate the attention to detail and decorative touches. Quality ironwork, arches and columns, spacious rooms and abundant outdoor living spaces create a wonderfully comfortable vacation property.

Casa Grande has one master bedroom on the second floor with one king-size bed. The master bedroom has a bathroom with a tub and a separate shower. There is also a private balcony. The entertainment room is on the third floor and has a large balcony with a wonderful view of town and the ocean. The room is complete with wet bar and a second bathroom with a shower. The two sofas in this room can be used as single beds, turning this into a second bedroom.

Above the entertainment room is the highest sundeck on the island. The property is built on the top of a small hill, so at the sundeck level you're at the same height as a six story building, giving you an incredible view! The entire town spreads out below you; in the daylight, you can see the ocean and the city. During the evening, you'll catch great sunsets and enjoy the sparkle of the city lights below and the stars above. The sundeck has built-in lounge chairs and an outdoor shower for cooling off. Completely private, you can sunbathe au natural for the best all-over tan in Mexico.

There is a kitchen is equipped with appliances and complete set of cookware, plates, glassware, silver, etc. Purified bottled water is provided in the kitchen and the entertainment room. Dining room is just off the living area and has seating for 6.

The downstairs living room, the bedroom, and the entertainment room are all air conditioned. There is a very large, lush tropical garden in front of the house, perfect for afternoon margaritas.

Because of the many balconies and stairways in this house, as well as the breakable items, owner prefers NO CHILDREN, PLEASE.

The on-site caretakers are Chipita and Jose provide maid service and general problem solving at the houses. Casa Grande is only available March through December.

1. Vacation Rental Rates are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include 14% tax. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates can vary.
2. Unless otherwise noted a security deposit will be included in the rental contract and has to be paid in advance as the rental amount. Depending on the home it is between US 150 - US 1000. Tenants agree to pay for any damage caused. If there is no damage the security deposit will be returned within two to four weeks of departure.
3. Your rental needs to be paid in USD by check or money order.
4. A 50% deposit along with the signed contract is required within seven days of booking to hold the dates for your vacation home. Your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival, 60 days for holidays.
5. Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival are refundable at the owners discretion based on ability to re-rent. A US 250 handling fee applies for all cancellations. No refund on holiday rentals.
6. If travel is restricted by the US Government or Airlines forcing a cancellation, your vacation rental can be rescheduled within a year. No refunds. Adjustments for seasonal changes may apply. A low season rental will be honored without additional charge. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
7. Maximum occupancy includes all children no matter what age. No additional guests. No exceptions. Contract will be null and void and you will be asked to leave.
8. No pets allowed.
9. No smoking inside the property.
10. Three night minimum stay.
11. Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Early check in and/or late check out can be arranged at half a days rate if possible.
12. All vacation rentals are subject to Mexican laws and regulations.
13. Unless stated otherwise in the property description our vacation homes include maid service three times a week. No maid service on Sundays and Mexican holidays. Maid service can be increased for an additional charge of $35 per day.

14. We will email you directions and entry procedures around two weeks prior to your arrival. Directions are from Cancun Airport to your vacation home. Entry procedures include the lock box code for the house and service phone numbers. Please remember to bring these instructions with you.
15. Water and electricity are the two most valuable commodities. Please conserve both. Shut off air conditioners when not using the bedrooms, and when leaving the premises. Air conditioners found running with the windows open will result in forfeiture of security deposit.
16. Use common sense and to ensure a safe trip, lock all doors and windows when leaving your vacation home.
