Villa Azul

This spacious four-bedroom, fully air-conditioned beachfront home is designed to take maximum advantage of its site to present a spectacular view and to catch the cooling northern breezes from the Caribbean Sea that are typical of Cozumel. The cool tones of the sea and sky are carried through Villa Azul in the furnishings and the blue tile.

This home sits next to Villa Ros Mar for large groups or wedding. Additionally the beach here is ideal for kids or elderly people are there are no rocks and shallow waters with minimal waves. Very water friendly area.

The first floor features a spacious entryway leading to the large living and dining area overlooking the beach and the sea. On the same level are the kitchen), a veranda on the beach, a bedroom with queen-size bed and full bathroom, and a half bath.

The living area has a cozy sitting area decorated with rattan furniture. A variety of tropical plants are placed throughout the house. The dining area seats eight people comfortably.

The second story houses three bedrooms, two of which have twin beds, private bathrooms, and a balcony. The master suite features a king-size bed, a private bath, and a balcony.

The beach on this side of the island is wide and unpopulated. Being one of the last homes north of the hotel area, few beach walkers pass by. The waters are calm enough for leisurely snorkeling.

The location is approximately 300 yards north of the Mayan Plaza Hotel, which offers shops, restaurants, windsurfing, and jet-ski rental. Since the house is off the main road, you may want to rent a car.

1. Vacation Rental Rates are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include 14% tax. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates can vary.
2. Unless otherwise noted a security deposit will be included in the rental contract and has to be paid in advance as the rental amount. Depending on the home it is between US 150 - US 1000. Tenants agree to pay for any damage caused. If there is no damage the security deposit will be returned within two to four weeks of departure.
3. Your rental needs to be paid in USD by check or money order.
4. A 50% deposit along with the signed contract is required within seven days of booking to hold the dates for your vacation home. Your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival, 60 days for holidays.
5. Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival are refundable at the owners discretion based on ability to re-rent. A US 250 handling fee applies for all cancellations. No refund on holiday rentals.
6. If travel is restricted by the US Government or Airlines forcing a cancellation, your vacation rental can be rescheduled within a year. No refunds. Adjustments for seasonal changes may apply. A low season rental will be honored without additional charge. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
7. Maximum occupancy includes all children no matter what age. No additional guests. No exceptions. Contract will be null and void and you will be asked to leave.
8. No pets allowed.
9. No smoking inside the property.
10. Three night minimum stay.
11. Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Early check in and/or late check out can be arranged at half a days rate if possible.
12. All vacation rentals are subject to Mexican laws and regulations.
13. Unless stated otherwise in the property description our vacation homes include maid service three times a week. No maid service on Sundays and Mexican holidays. Maid service can be increased for an additional charge of $35 per day.

14. We will email you directions and entry procedures around two weeks prior to your arrival. Directions are from Cancun Airport to your vacation home. Entry procedures include the lock box code for the house and service phone numbers. Please remember to bring these instructions with you.
15. Water and electricity are the two most valuable commodities. Please conserve both. Shut off air conditioners when not using the bedrooms, and when leaving the premises. Air conditioners found running with the windows open will result in forfeiture of security deposit.
16. Use common sense and to ensure a safe trip, lock all doors and windows when leaving your vacation home.
