Transportation
We can help you arrange for private transportation from the airport directly to the door, one way or roundtrip, which ever you prefer. You will have a private van or car, the driver will wait for you outside the airport with a sign stating your name and take you directly to your vacation home.
Customized private tours can be arranged. Please ask for details.
All Private Transfers, Air Conditioned. No hassles or haggling. Passenger insurance included.
Please note that this service can not be arranged in Cozumel.

Cars for 1 or 2 people: Sentra 2009
Vans for 3 to 10 people: Ford Wagon 2004/2009
Limited car seats are available. Please ask. Animals have to be crated. Please advice in case of extra luggage like golf clubs.
Pricing
Transportation needs to be paid in advance. Pricing is based on the number of people traveling together and nonrefundable. Rates are for ground transportation between Cancun Airport and Playa del Carmen and are subject to change without prior notice. Valid reservations will always be honored.

Reservation
Email us the above informtion and arrange for payment. Upon receipt of both we will arrange for your transportation and send you a confirmation email.
Please be sure to print and bring your transportation confirmation.
The driver will know where the house is but only the lock box code lets you gain access to your vacation home.
Please make every effort to communicate changed flight information. Flights are delayed, and luggage gets lost, not only in Mexico. The transpo company will track your flight and wait for your arrival even if the flight is delayed.
For your departure you will be picked you up at your house or condo usually 3.5 hours before departure time. This is the recommended stressfree version of insuring a smooth departure. Feel free to change pick up time at your own risk. Keep in mind that there is only one high way to Cancun Airport from Playa del Carmen.
Private Chauffer Service and Rental Vehicles
We can arrange for rental cars, vans, bicycles or
scooters and even Harleys. Please ask your house representative
for options to accommodate your specific request. Prices
vary according to season.
You should bring your drivers license from your country
of origin in order to drive a vehicle.
If you are planning on leaving the Riviera Maya by car
on your own you should opt for a Mexican drivers license.
The process will be faster if you have your blood type
and glasses ready. Bring your passport and visa for
your digital Mexican drivers license.
Rental Items
Cell Phones
We rent cell phones for US 40 per week. This includes at least 200 Pesos calling time depending on current promotions.
A local phone call costs app. 4 Pesos, an international phone call about 15 Pesos. The phone cards "Fichas de amigo" can be purchased in almost any store.
If you reserve your cell phone in advance we can email you the phone number and the phone will be waiting for you upon arrival.
From the US or Canada dial 011 + 521 + 984 + number.
We will reserve a cell phone for you upon receipt of payment and email you the number together with directions and entry procedures about two weeks prior to your arrival.
Cribs
We have a limited number of cots and cribs, playpens, strollers, high chairs and a wheel chair available for rent. These items must be reserved and paid for in advance. We prefer you make your booking well in advance and send payment with the final payment for your vacation property.

Shopping
Stay up late, if you have taken advantage of our shopping service, knowing that everything you need is already at the house. Just be set for breakfast the first day or don't do any shopping at all. Send us your shopping list and we will work our magic.
Download the shopping list in Microsoft Excel format or Acrobat Reader format and fax or email your specifics.
Please order at least 3 days in advance of arriving - often it takes several trips to several stores to find the best available fresh items.
The charge for this service is 35%. Since grocery prices are somewhat lower than in the states you will end up paying about the same than you would at home, but the groceries are already in your fridge.
Minimum Order US 100.00. Tip not included.
PLEASE NOTE: Although we can find some particular brands and products not everything is available at all times here in Playa del Carmen. We will substitute items and brands the best we can unless told otherwise. We maintain a no return policy.
In-House Cook Service
For the finishing touch to your Mayan Riviera stay, consider ordering a gourmet meal , prepared and served in the comfort of home by experienced, friendly staff. This is a delightful experience, one you shouldn't miss.
In-house cook service is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This service must be ordered two days in advance for a minimum of 4 people and is scheduled on a first come first serve basis. We can attend about 5 parties at the same time.

Playacar VIP Card
ONLY for selected vacation rental properties in Playacar Fase II, Playa del Carmen
Please note: The loss of the Playacar VIP Card will result in the forfeiture of your security deposit. Please make sure to leave the card at the house in plain sight before you depart or hand it back personally to our house representative.
Should you be driving your own or a rental car during your vacation please be sure to have the VIP card with you in order to gain access to Playacar Fase II. You may be asked by the security guards to show the card every time you enter Playacar Fase II.
The Playacar VIP Card also allows you access to the oceanfront Reef Club Resort at special rates.
The Reef Club is located in Playacar Fase II marked clearly on the left bottom on our map.
With this card, you can enjoy the following amenities:

lounge chairs, beach towels & use of pool and gym
(Approx $2.00 USD fee during some seasons)
Half Day

Please respect the privileges given to us by the Reef Club Resort:
Each day the whole group must choose the same option and enter at the same time. Limit of 4 adults and 4 children per card.
Charges and conditions are subject to change without notice per Reef Club Resort mandates.
This courtesy service is subject to availability at the discretion of the Reef Club!
During Peak Season Reef Club access may not be available.
Miscellaneous
Babysitting
Please talk to any MexicoEscape representative or call the office in order to assist you with your request. We have mostly Spanish speaking baby sitters available. Your house representative will help you introduce her to your children.
Daily Maid Service
Every vacation home has maid service, usually three times a week if not specified otherwise in the vacation home description. Should you require additional maid service please make your request well in advance. For US 35 a day we can schedule daily maid service except on Sundays and Holidays.
We prefer to arrange and be paid for this service in advance.
Decorations, Flowers, Birthday Cakes
We offer Christmas Trees for US 60. We can leave the ornaments for you and your family to put it up or set it all up for you. Just let us know.
Decorations, Flowers or Birthday Cakes - If you want to celebrate a special occasion we can help with flower arrangements. Simply ask - we will make it happen!
Reservation
Most tour reservations can be done easily when you are here.
Often pricing and availability is seasonal and changes frequently. If there is something specific you want to do during peak season between December and April please contact us in advance.
Soon upon arrival you will meet your house representative who is available for anything you may need on his cell phone. You can always call the office and leave a message even during business hours identifying yourself and the unit you are staying at. We will make every effort to attend as soon as possible.
While you are welcome to pay certain services in cash Mexican Pesos or US Dollars, most additional services need to be paid in advance by check like your rental.
Please consider that we have no control over any of the tour companies and their price structure. At certain times of the year discounts are available. It is NOT reasonable to expect a huge discount during peak season.

We only accept US funds. If you reside outside the United States you will need a money order or a certified check for US funds. Please do NOT use DHL as they do not come to our area.
